Mr. Eric Hansen

Eric Hansen, Vice President Corporate Finance, is a strategic matchmaker and public speaker who helps companies tell their story.

Prior to joining Raintree, he consulted to several companies seeking best practices to penetrate the evolving private capital markets and helped them roll out nationwide distribution.

He has a track record of working with companies through growth and capital formation; developing partnerships, corporate finance solutions and securities offerings.

He has worked within a wide range of industries including; green energy, technology, mining, commercial lending and real estate.

He was co-founder and membership chair of a Boston-based advocacy group for personalization technology, which consulted to the FTC, and was covered by the Wall Street Journal (Asia), CNN.com and The New York Times.

Mr. Hansen was a Canada Games athlete and varsity student athlete. His athletic achievements took him to Europe to play professional volleyball in Holland and France before starting his entrepreneurial career in Canada.

Eric is interested in best practices for governance, has an active background as a corporate director as well as sitting on charitable boards and volunteering.

He lives between Victoria, BC and his hometown Edmonton, Alberta, enjoying hiking, yoga, and social gatherings with family and friends from around the world.
